"Fixed it eventually, but what a bunch of slowpokes"
They did get the issue resolved in the end, but man, it took way too long. I was left waiting around while these guys dragged their feet like total slowpokes. Glad it’s fixed, but the whole process was frustrating.

"Got Surprised by the Final Price"
I started out thinking the price looked reasonable, so I went ahead expecting it to be straightforward. But as I moved through the process, little fees started showing up that I didn’t notice at first. By the time I got to the final total, it was higher than I expected, and it kind of took the excitement out of it. I just wish the pricing had been clearer upfront so I knew exactly what I was getting into.

This place was convenient overall, especially for a quick boat day and all that. The parking situation was a little confusing at first, but we figured it out and it worked fine for what we needed

I felt a little misled at first because I thought this would help me put together a negative review, but that wasn’t the case. They only support honest reviews based on real experiences, which I get, but it wasn’t what I expected

"Okay price, but the extra fees broke my trust"
The rental price seemed decent at first, and the boat was fine for what we needed. But once the extra fees started showing up, it didn’t feel like the same deal anymore. Nothing was terrible, but I hate feeling like the real cost wasn’t clear upfront. Kind of lost some trust there, so next time I’ll definitely compare prices and ask more questions before booking.

"Picked the wrong time to book, I guess"
I tried booking through bluewaterboatrental.com, and it was way more frustrating than I expected. Maybe I just caught the site at a bad time, but the pages were loading slowly, the steps weren’t super clear, and I couldn’t really tell if my reservation had actually gone through. I ended up checking everything myself a couple times just to be sure, which made the whole process feel more stressful than it needed to be. Not the best first impression.

"Made the safety stuff way harder than it needed to be"
The boat itself was fine, but the safety briefing felt really rushed and not very clear. It should’ve been a simple thing to explain properly before we headed out, but somehow it turned into us having to ask basic questions more than once and still not feeling totally confident. For a rental, I expected them to slow down and take that part a bit more seriously. The trip wasn’t ruined, but it definitely made it less relaxing than it should’ve been.

"Felt a little embarrassed about the boat"
The boat ran okay, so no real issue there, but it was worn out. The seats were ripped and the inside felt kind of dirty. I was a little embarrassed having people with me because it just didn’t look very well taken care of

"Trip got cut short after the boat kept stalling"
This was frustrating. The boat was running rough almost from the start and ended up stalling on us twice while we were out. When we tried to get help over the radio, the staff took way too long to respond, which just made the whole thing more stressful. It also felt like the goalposts kept moving on what they were going to do to help, and in the end we just cut the trip short. Not really worth the hassle...

"Hard to Get a Clear Answer"
I reached out to Blue Water Boat Rental a couple of times before my booking because I just wanted to feel sure everything was set and that I had the details right. It was frustrating waiting around for a reply, especially when you're trying to plan ahead and feel confident about the reservation.
When they finally did respond, the answer was really brief and didn’t really clear things up for me. Maybe they were just busy, but I would’ve appreciated a little more reassurance or helpful information. The whole experience made me feel more stressed than excited, so I probably wouldn’t book with them again.

"Pickup was kind of a mess and we..."
Pickup was kind of a mess and we were just standing around for a while without much info. returning the boat wasn’t much better either, nobody really seemed sure where we were supposed to go. The boat itself was totally fine, but the beginning and end made the whole day feel way more stressful than it Needed to be.
